A comprehensive digital experience was developed for the 2020 International Chemistry Olympiad, held in Turkey in collaboration with TÜBİTAK, welcoming participants from around the world. A user-centered approach guided every aspect of the project, ensuring mentors, competitors, families, and educators could all access the information they needed with ease.
A distinctive corporate identity was designed drawing inspiration from chemistry and Turkish culture. A turquoise-dominant color palette — a nod to Turkey's national color — was paired with modern chemistry-themed graphics to give IChO 2020 a brand identity that resonated with both international and local audiences. This identity was applied consistently across all project materials, from the website to printed collateral.
The "Catalyzer" brochure was designed to guide participants throughout the olympiad. Prepared in alignment with the corporate identity, it brought together the olympiad program, local culture, and key event information in a clear and user-friendly format. The brochure served as a reliable companion for participants, supporting the overall event experience.
